Getting started
Your host, your Apple device, and a network connection.
1. Prepare your host
Install and configure Sunshine or Apollo on the computer you want to stream from. Keep it awake with an active display or virtual display. Add the games or desktop you want to stream in the host settings.
For your first connection, put the host and your Apple device on the same local network. Allow streaming through the host firewall.
2. Add the host
Open VVMoon and select Add Host. Use local discovery or enter the address yourself. Review the name and address, then save the host. On iPhone and iPad, allow local network access when asked.

3. Pair with a PIN
- Open the host in VVMoon and select Pair.
- VVMoon shows a PIN at once.
- On your computer, open the PIN page in Sunshine or Apollo and enter that PIN.
- Return to VVMoon. It loads the host's apps after pairing.
Apollo one-time pairing
In Apollo's pairing page, select the OTP tab. Choose a passphrase and create a code. In VVMoon, use Paste Pairing Link, scan the QR code on a supported iPhone or iPad, or select Pair → Apollo Code and enter the code and passphrase. Review the host before you add and pair it.
The code lasts three minutes and works once. Create a new code if it has expired or was used.
4. Start a stream
Select a game or desktop in the host's app list. Use touch, a connected controller, keyboard, or mouse. Open the stream controls to stop the stream or return to the host.
5. Set video quality
Open Settings → Video. Choose resolution, frame rate, and bitrate for your host and network. Start a new stream after you change these settings. Pro adds MetalFX Spatial on supported devices.
